Scholars / Cancer Imaging

Detecting cancer at its earliest stages is fundamental for early treatment and increasing cure rates.

Jessica Miller, PhD

Modern CT Scan imaging to improve the precision of radiation therapy delivery to tumors.

Dr. Miller investigates the use of DECT to improve tumor delineation for patients with cancer in areas where conventional CT cannot adequately delineate tumor from healthy tissue. The use of DECT in radiation therapy has been underexplored and tumor delineation is just one of many projects that she hopes to pursue to improve cancer treatment.
